The table graphs give information about the percentage of households with internet access in Australia, Canada, Germany, South Korea and the UK between 2005 and 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the percentage of internet access shows a significant increase during the five years. South Korea had the highest percentage of internet users in both years. While the proportion of internet access in the UK was lowest in 2005. However, by 2010 all countries had relatively high internet percentages.
In detail, by 2005 South Korea had the highest proportion of internet-connected households at 72 %. Even though Canada had 68% in 2005. After that Germany and Australia had similar levels of access at 60% and 54%, respectively. In addition, the UK had the lowest percentage with only 45% of households having internet access.
On the other hand, By 2010, South Korea remain the leader with 89% of households online. Canada and Germany also show significant growth reaching 82% and 79%. The UK, despite starting with the lowest percentage, showed remarkable improvement, reaching 76%, which was only slightly lower than Australia.
In summary, Internet access grew substantially in all five countries, with South Korea maintaining the highest percentage, while the UK experienced the most significant growth.
