Overall, it is clear that women employees in the tourism sector accounted for the highest proportion through the surveyed period, while that of manufacturing reorded the lowest share during the same period. On the other hand, men staffs in the manufacturing sector constitute the largest figure before leveling off over the 20 years.
Look at the table more in detail, in 1990, working men in the manufacturing was 30% as the highest figures, ten years later, the figure was halved. Tourism was 13% in 1990, decreasing by 3% after 10 years and remained in 2010. The retail and shops sectors recorded 13% through all surveyed period. In contrast, although the health sector accounted for lowest figures at 7% throughout the same period, it saw marginal increase in 2020 at 2%.
On the other hand, table in the women, tourism compensate for the largest proportion of total over the 30 years. Tourism started at 23% in 1990, increasing by 2% every 10 years later. Furthermore, the health and retail/shops sector witnessed upward trends. The retail/shops sector rose by 1% every 10 years later. Additionally, the health sector showed increasing 2% and 4% each year. Conversely, in the manufacturing sector showed fluctuations over the 30 years, rising 1% from 1990 to 2000, decreasing 5% after 10 years.
