the table chart illustrates the proportion of male and female cyclists by age group in a city in 2011.
First of all, it is clear that the number of female riders always exceeded the number of male cyclists in all ages. it is also obvious that little girls liked to ride bicycles more at a young age. However, this hobby automatically decreased when they got older. The percentage of the 0-9 age group was 51.4 percent; and gradually reduced until age of 59. This percentage then rose to get 18.5% for women who are 60 years old or older.
Secondly, the ratio of male drivers changed as the same way as women. Therefore, it was 50.3 percent for male kids until 9 years old, then it reduced to reaching eight percent for the 40s and 50s. At and after sixty years, 13.2% of people thought more about riding cycles.
In conclusion, children started to be more interested in riding bicycles. Over time, they lost their passion gradually when they got older. Again, most of them tried to drive after the retiring age.
