Also, Australia and the United States have only a small gap between the percentages of female workers, while the other countries show significant disparity in these figures.
In terms of the female workforce, Japan recorded the highest numbers with 48% of it female workers. The United States and Australia followed closely, at 46% and 42% respectively. Sri Lanka also had a similar proportion, at 41%, while Egypt has the lowest percentage, with only 20% of it female workers.
Looking at the proportion of female managers, Australia and the United States was highest at 43%. By contrast, the other countries showed much lower levels. Egypt had only 12% of women in managers positions, and Sri Lanka had the smallest share, at just 9%, while Japan was slightly higher at 17%.
