The data provides information whether 6800 Scottish individual aged 16 years and over has participated in cultural events from last one year.
Overall, performance and visual arts had the highest involvement compared to other type of activities.
The largest participation was seen in the age group of 16-24 with 35% and 30% respectively doing performance and visual arts. In contrast, other activities were much lower, particularly computer based at 10%. Now moving ahead to much older groups, specifically from 25-44 years, the major percentage is covered by performance with 22% and undertaking any craft and cultural purchases were at similar mark of 17%.
The remaining age group of 45–74, the least popular kind of event is computer which stood at 5% and writing also displaying the same trend like computer. However, the most famous activity was undertaking any craft with 22%. In 16 and above age group, the involvement of computer was 6% and writing was one more than computer.
