The provided table gives information about results of questionnaire that asked 6800 people from Scotland aged over 16 whether they had participated in some cultural events in the past one year.
At first glance, it is clear that the largest part of surveyed had participated in visual arts and any performance. From the other hand, the lowest percentage of people was in writing and computer based.
Turning to the details, out from all activities, the amount of people from 16 and 24 was noticeably higher in visual arts and any performance like dancing, singing, playing musical instruments and acting, 30 and 35 per cent respectively. The proportion of surveyed aged from middle twentieth to middle fortieth was also highest in any performance, at 22 per cent, and the part of people from 45 to 74 was significantly higher in undertaking any craftsand cultural purchases, at 22 and 18 per cent accordingly.
It can be seen that, the percentage of people aged from 25 to 44 was the lowest in writing and computer based, at just over 5% and and nearly 10% respectively. Also in writing and computer based people from 45 to 74 had the lowest percentage, at 5 of both.
