The table illustrates the percentage of 6800 Scotland citizens aging 16 years and over, about their preference in different cultural activities in one year.
Overall, any performance was the most popular activity in all age bracket except for people who aged 45-74. Meanwhile, computer based had the lowest participation rate.
The most favorite activities for Scottish that aged for 16-24 were Any performance and visual arts, at 35% and 30% respectively. In contrast, the other activities has much lower proportion, at 17% participation for Writing. Whereas, Craft and Cultural purchases had the same number, at 11%, Lastly 10% Participation for Computer based activity.
Turning to the older age brackets (25-44 and 45-74), Performance and Craft still the most chosen activities, although, the rate was lower only at 22% and 17% respectively. However, for cultural purchases distributed the same percentage as crafts, and 16% for arts. While, writing and computer based only held 6% and 9% respectively.
For all aged, performance was the highest participation percentage among Scots, at 22%. Moreover, crafts, cultural purchases, and arts became the next most picked activity rate, at 19%, 15%, 16% respectively. For writing and computing had the most lowest proportion, at only 7% and 6%.
