The table illustrates how much water is spent on different purposes in four countries.
Overall, the water used for agriculture is highest in Egypt and Saudi Aribia, besides the figure for New Zealand and Canada is the most in industry. In addition, the water used for domestic is lowest in three countries except Canada.
Regarding to Egypt, they consume water the most in agriculture with 82%, followed by industry with 10%. Similarly, the amount of water is 64% that is consumed by agriculture and about 30% more than the figure for industry. Domestic is alway a purpose that is consumed the least water with only 8% and 6% in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia respectively.
In terms of New Zealand, the water is spent the most on industry with 46%, followed by agriculture and domestic with 44% and 10% respectively. Moreover, the figure for Canada is 70% in industry and 20% in domestic, finally with 10% in agriculture.
