This table provides information about water use for three different purposes, domestic use, industry and agricultural in four nations. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand and Canada.
Overall, Canada has the highest use of water for domestic and industrial purposes. Egypt consumed most of the water for agricultural uses. Saudi Arabia and New Zealand have relatively similar percentages of uses.
Let’s start with the domestic field, Canada had the highest consumption of water with 20% of used water. On the other hand Saudi Arabia had the lowest percentage of use of water by only 6%. Moving to the industrial use, Canada also had the highest use of water by 70% while Eygpt consumed less water by 10%.
The agricultural field has the most consumption of water among all three fields. Egypt consumed the most water with 82% while Canada consumed the least water by 10%. Saudi Arabia used 64% and New Zealand used only 44%.
