To begin with, college staff bought more magazines (332) than fiction (44) and non-fiction (29) books. College students preferred magazines to books (1249) and least preferred fiction books (31). 194 non-fiction books were sold by the college bookshop to college students. Members of the public bought 122 nonfiction books and 82 magazines. Book club members bought 76 fiction books, 942 non-fiction books, and 33 magazines from the college bookshop in 2000. A total of 3134 books were sold by the college bookshop in february 2000; 405 to college staff, 1474 to college students, 204 to members of the public, and 1051 to book club members.
