This table illustrates the data, collected by a college bookshop for the month of February 2000.
The main feature of the table is that it contains data regarding Fiction, Non-fiction, and magazines which were bought by Non-Book Club Members and Book Club Members.
Magazines were the most bought items at1,696, making them very popular, while Fiction books were the least popular, with only 151.
Regarding Magazines bought by Non Book Club Members, college students were the highest at 1,249, whereas college staff and members of the public were less at 332 and 82 respectively. Book Club Members also bought 33 magazines Non-fiction books were also mostly bought by college students which is 194, whereas college staff and members of thepublic bought 29 and 122 respectively, and 33 books were bought by Book Club Members. Fiction books were mainly bought by college staff at 44 and college students at 31. However, no members of the public bought these books, but 76 were bought by Book Club Members, which was the highest amount for that group.
The total number of books bought was 3,134, of 151 were Fiction, 1,287 were Non-fiction, and 1,696 were Magazines.
