Overall, people under 25 use the lowest number of dairy products weekly, however individuals over 65 commonly prefer milk. Additionally, people around 45-65 mostly purchase butter.
Milk consumption for individuals under 25 is the lowest at 1,200ml of which 59% is full fat and 41% low fat. The groups 26-45, 45-64 and 65+ drink 1650ml, 1670ml and 1900ml, respectively. These groups mostly prefer low-fat products, with 80%, 55% and 70%.
In terms of butter, is not commonly preferred by individuals under 25, they eat 12g of butter, with 60% full fat per week. The 26-45 age group prefer 19g, with 62% low fat. Individuals aged 45-65 consume butter more than other age groups. They eat 60 g weekly, although prefer equal number of full fat and low fat. Finally, the last group individuals over 65 prefers 30g of butter weekly, with 49% full fat.
