In 1985, the number of workers having low-income bracket was the largest, making up 41 per cent of the total workforce. In contrast, this percentage fell over the next two decades, reaching only 18 per cent in 2005. The same as 15000 to 25000 dollars group, the number of workers earning 25,000 to 40,000 dollars also dropped by 4 per centfrom 33 per cent in 1985 to 29 per cent in 2005.
Different from the two low-income group, the number of workers earning 40,000 to 60,000 dollars increased by 10 per cent in 2005. The most significant change was in the highest-income bracket, rising by 5 per cent from just 7 per cent in 1985 to 12 per cent in 2005
