The table displays data on carbon dioxide
emitted as well as renewable energy generated in eight countries over the course of 2019.
Overall, most of the countries produced greenhouse gas emissions in the range from 380,000 to 554,000, measured in kilo tones. Among the exceptions, South Korea and Canada with 728,000 and 730,000 kilo tones respectively.
When examining per capita emissions, three countries were the most prominent – Australia (21.49), followed by Canada (19.43) and Saudi Arabia (18.97). On the other hand, Indonesia scored the least, having only 2.7 of carbon dioxide produced per capita. Other countries’ figures ranged between 6.55 (France) and 9.83 (South Africa), with the exception of South Korea, having slightly higher figure of 14.22. Regarding renewable energy percentage, as well as in the first category, Canada has the largest share of 22.1%. Slightly lower was the score of France (15.5%) and Australia (10.1%).
