The given table illustrates the percentage of money spent on different household items in five European countries from their monthly income.
It is clear that most of the money went on Housing and Food and drinks in all countries. By contrast, the proportion of money expended on Clothing and Entertainment was the least in each countries.
Looking at the table in more detail, Turkish and Spanish people sepent their highest proportion of money on Food and drinks, at 36% and 31% respectively. Similarly, people in the UK expended a larger percentage of income on Housing, at 37%. However, a higher percentage of money was sepnt by people on Clothing and Entertainment categories in German ( 15% and 19%, respectively) compared to other countries.
On the contrary, the lowest portion of money paid on food/drinks and housing in Germany and Spain, at 22% and 18%, accordingly. Spending on clothing and entertainment were 7% and 10% in France and Turkey, which was the least expenditure on these items.
