The table illustrates the percentage distribution of the population of four age groups in a particular country of the years 2000, 2010, and 2020.
Overall, it can be seen that the populations of age group from 25-54 increased, while the under 15 age group 0-14 shows declined. However, the youngest age 15-24 and aged people of 55+ number were fluctued over the two decades.
In 2000, the population of age group 25-54 were 40% recorded, by 2010 the percentage increased to 42% before rising it to 43% in year 2020. However, the populations of 0-14 in year werer 25% which fell down from 22% to 20% in 2010 and 2020 respectively.
Whereas, In 2000 the youngest people age group 15-24 percentage were 18% and the rose to 20% in year 2010, by 2020 the same group fell down in 2020 to 19%, Similar trends were seen in 55+ year group which was 17% in year 2000 and declined to 16% in year 2010 and by year 2020 the figure recovered to 19%.
