The table compares changes in methodsof travel in England from 1985 and 2000 years.
Overall,the decrease was observed in the number of people traveling in the several methods of travel such as, walking, bicycle,local,bus, while others showed reverse.Additionally, the number of people traveling on car experinced the highest increase in the given period.
Focusing on methods which saw reduction, the number of people traveling on a bike and foot went down from 51 and 255 to 41 and 237 between 1985 and 2000,respectively.Meanwhile the figure for individuals who traveled on a local bus reduce by 155 from 429 from 1985 till 2000.Despite these declines, total number of travelers underwent rise from 4740 to 6475 between 1985 and 2000.
On the other hand, the sum of individuals traveling on taxi and train, showed increase by 29 and 77 feom 13 and 289 respectively.While the figure for people traveling in another ways climbed from 450 to 585, there was the highest increase from 3199 ro 4806 on the number of people traveling by car in given period.Meanwhile the sum of people who traveled on long distance bus experinced growth by 70 till 124 .
