The table shows how the percentage of UK visitors to Spain changed between 1981 and 2015 in five age groups, including 0-15,16-24,25-35,35-45, and 55+.
Overall, it can be seen that middle-aged people contain the main proportion of tourists compared to other age groups.
Firstly, children until 15 years comprised 12% in 2015,up from 10% in 1981. On the other hand, adolescents from 16 to 24 comprised only 4% in 1981 with sharply increase to 15%.In terms of the middle-aged group from 35 to 45, in the UK, who can able to visit Spain in 2015 decreased to 12%,down from 22% in 1981.
Moreover, data shows a steady increase in people aged more than 55 from 16% in 1981 and over the period of three decades to 25% of travelers in 2015.
