The table illustrates how the export values of five different of products changed between 2009 and 2010, with showing HK billions.It also shows the proportional change of them over the same period.
Overall, while ‘Metals’showed biggest increases in all goods, the reverse was true for ‘Clothing’
‘Equipment’ and ‘Telecommunity’ demonstrated an upword trend in their export values. In 2009,there was $HK10.3bln experted equipments. This figure grew almost steadely over the following year to reach a peak of $11.6HK bln,showing 13% change. By comparison,’Telecommunity’ rose from $HK7.9 bln to $12.7bln between 2009 and 2010, but their proportional change was higher, at 61%.
The contrast , 2010 recorded a slight decline from $HK6bln to$HK5 bln, showing – 17%and that of ‘Manufacturing’ from$HK 5.5 bln to $HK4bln with -27% decline. While ‘Metals’ showed the largest change from $HK2.3bln to $HK5.1bln with 122%, the O’verall’ figure changed from 32bln to HK 38.4 bln with 20%.
