The table presents the export values of different products [documented in $HK], in 2009 and 2010. Overall, the highest value was recorded in 2010. Equipment had the highest figure for both years, while metals and manufacturing had the lowest digit in 2009 and 2010 respectively. There were also changes relating to the percentage by which each commodity increased and decreased in-between the years.
As presented, equipment had the highest in 2009 with a total figure of $10.3 billion. Telecommunity and clothing had a relatively close figure of $7.9 billion and $6 billion respectively. In 2010, equipment rose slightly by 13%, and it amounted to $11.6 billion. Also telecommunity recorded the highest percentage increase. It grew by 61% to $12.7 billion before the end of 2010. On the other hand, clothing declined to $5 billion by approximately 17%.
Futhermore, manufacturing also reduced by 27%, from a figure of $5.5 billion to $4 billion. Meanwhile, metals grew from $2.3 billion to $5.1 billion by 12.2%.
