Overall, there were increases in the export values of equipment, telecommunity, and metals, with metals export witnessing the most dramatic rise, except clothing and manufacturing. Additionally, the total export value of 2009 was much lower than that of 2010.
Looking at the first year, the trade data for equipment was the highest, at 10,3 $ HK Billion, while the export figure for telecommunity was slightly lower, at around 8 $ HK Billion. The export data of clothing nearly the same as the figure for manufacturing, at 6 $ HK Billion. Only 2,3 $ HK Billion was invested in metals.
In 2010, the sales of telecommunity rose significantly and became the highest figure in the chart, with a 61% climb, while the export data of equipment increased steadily, with a 13% climb. In addition, the sales of metal overseas experienced a dramatic increase, with the highest increase, at 120%.
