Overall, it is evident that in all 6 countries the number of international tourist rose throughout the years. Whereas the most international tourist came from France, the least people that went on an holiday came from Japan.
In 2000, more than 65 million people from France went on international holiday. In the following 2 researched years, this number increased to 76 and 82 million people. Although the USA went in that same period from 50 to 60 to 74 million tourist, China made the most significant growth from 30 to 55 to 68 million people.
In contrast, Italy followed with a slight increase from only 20 to 30 to 48 million people. However, the two countries with the least international tourist were Turkey and Japan. Turkey went from 20 to 30 to 48 million people and Japan only from 18 to 25 to 40 million respectively.
