The given line graph illustrates data about proportion of obese people with a certain age category in one region between 1971 to 2005
Overall, there was an increase in all age categories. It is clear that age 45 to 64 was dominant over the period, except for the oldest category between 1999 and 2001 where they were equal. Meanwhile, the youngest ages showed the lowest percentage of overweight individuals. It is interesting to note that the age group 30 to 44 started with a lower figurescore than the older group, but in the end made up an identical amount.
The two oldest categories(45-64 and 65-74) both started the period similarly, roughly 30 each.Nevertheless, during five years there was minimal minimum change, before they increased significantly and their index exceeded the point of 35 in 1999. However, in the next five years they remained unchanged except for the age group 65 to 74 that decreased slightly and at the end of the period was 35 at the end of the period. Meanwhile the former increased thus by the end of the period hit the highest point just over 40.
Turning to the range 30 to 44 and 18 to 29 at the beginning of the period, they displayed different figures. The former was nearly 15% and stayed stable until 1976, but this percentage doubled in 1999 (30%) before dipping dipped slightly and regained growth by the end of the period was about 31. Whereas, youngest group demonstrated 8% at the beginning before havingd continuous considerable continuously considerabley growth over the period and finishing the period with/at just under 25
