The chart below illustrated the information about the percentage of various categories of households residing in poverty in 1999 in Australia.
Overall, it is clear that proportions of sole parent family and single with no children had the highest percentage in this table.While aged couple type and single aged person had the lowest proportion of people living in poverty.
We can notice the type of all households living poverty was 11% and with 1837000 people, while couple with children was 12% with 933000 people.The lowest types were single aged person and aged couple had 6% with 54000 and 4% with 48000, respectively.Having the most high proportion, groups of single no children and sole parent were 19% and 21%, respectively.Despite Sole parent type was more by 2%, it had approximately 120000 people less than single with no children group.Moreover, couple, that has no children was 7% and with 211000 people in this type.
