Overall, the Central area records the highest percentage of residents in detached houses, while in the Green Park area the proportion of apartment owners is predominant and terraced house owners make up the largest proportion of residents in the Southberg area. In addition, while having the biggest share in the central area, the percentage of semi-detached and detached residents was the lowest in two remaining regions.
In the Central area, which has the population of 32,100 people, the type of accommodation that has the most people living in is detached house, at 39%, followed by those who live in semi-detached house, at 28%. In contrast, the proportion of people who reside in an apartment is the lowest figure with only 15%. 18% of people choose to live in a terraced house.
Regarding the Green park area, which has a total of 31,700 people, 76% is the portion of people who live in an apartment, which is recorded the highest figure, while the proportion of terraced owners is lower, at 14%. Moreover, the semi-detached and detached owners show a similar pattern, at 5%, each, making them become the lowest over 2 figures.
Considering the Southberg area, which has the same population as the Central area, Terraced is the most common type of house with 56% of residents, while the semi-tached resident’s percentage is only 5%. Finally, the proportion of flat and detached owners is 25% and 14%, respectively.
