The given table presents the distribution of residents in four different types of housing in three areas of a city in the UK.
As can be seen from the table, apartment is the top preference of residents in Green Park area and terraced houses also account for largest percentage in Southberg area. Additionally, while having the largest share of Central area, semi-detached and detached properties are rare in two reamaining areas.
In Central area, detached houses are the main accomodations among four types of housing at approximately 39%. Followed by semi-detached houses, the number of individuals have a choice of this accomodation is just lower by 10% of detached-house, while terrached houses and flats represent around 20%, at 18% and 15%.
By contrast, the Green Park area with total number of residents at 31,700 is prominenty made up of flats. While 76% of people residate in apartments, just nearly 15% of those accomodate in terraced houses. Semi-detached and detached properties just account for a minority of 5%.
In Southberg, where has the same population of Green Park area having the largest proportion of residents in terrached houses, with over a half of the population (56%). The proportion of residents in terached houses doubles those are flat-dwellers in the same area, with 25% The dwellers in this district are also less preferable to detached and semi-detached houses, respectively 14% and 5%.
