Overall, it is clear that the Voluntary-controlled school had the highest number of pupils attendance in 2000, while the community school and specialist school accounted for much smaller proportions.
To begin with, in 2000 Voluntary-controlled schools had the highest percentage of pupil’s attendance at approximately 52 percent, while in the same year specialist and community schools showed lower rates of attendance at nearly 12 percent. The percentage of grammar school was 24 percent.
In 2005, the voluntary-controlled school experienced a dramatic decline at roughly 38 percent, while the community school had a noticeable increase of participation at 32 percent. Additionally, the specialist and grammar schools revealed a slightly decrease in attendance at approximately 11 percent, 19 percent.
