The table shows information about sales of Fairtrade-labelled coffee and bananas in 1999 and 2004 in five European countries. It shows that all sales of coffee had soared up from 1999 to 2004, with UK having the largest increase, which is around 18.5 millions of euros. For bananas, all country having an increase despite Sweden and Denmark. They are having an fall of sales from this 6 years of periods.
From the coffee table it is clearly shows that UK having the largest increase from all above the others 4 country. UK having around 18.5 increase from the past 6 years while the others having increases only between 0.2-3. As UK having the most largest increase, there’s Denmark and Sweden that having the smallest rise, which is only 0.2 millions of euros for the past 6 years.
It seems that the demand of bananas having a large growth as it can be seen in the Switzerland row. Switzerland rise around 32 millions of euros from 1999. It shows that they’re having 15 millions of euros and in 2004 they’re having 47 millions of euros in total, which is the largest number of increase above all of the data that is shown.
But, sadly there’s an decrease in this data. It is shows that Denmark having a plummet from 2 millions of euros to only 0.9 millions of euros in 2004.
