The table charts illustrate sales of Fairtrade labelled tea and pineapples in 2010 and 2015 in five distinct European countries.
Overall, Austria held the first place for tea and pineapples sales for both years, whilst lowest for tea was in Netherlands. Germany showed a substantial decrease, receding to the last place for pineapples sales.
To begin, France and Austria maintained as the most tea selling countries, whilst the first one increased nearly 9 times, reaching 21 millions of euros in 2015.The following countries were Germany and Netherlands consisting of 3 and 2.7 millions of euros. Norway showed a slight increase from 1.8 to 2 millions of euros.
Pineapples industry was dominated by Austria with a substantial increase of 32 millions of euros from 2010 to 2015. France demonstrated an increasing trend, reaching roughly 7 millions of euros . Before receding to 2 millions of euros, Norway pineapples sales was second highest between 5 countries with approximately 3 millions of euros. Germany showed a decline in sales, ending up with nearly 2 millions of euros.
