The tables illustrate how much time was spent for working by part-time and full-time workers in a week in three European countries in the year 2002.
It is evident that workers in Greece spent the highest portion of hours by working full-time and part-time, while both full-time male and female workers worked for the same hours in the UK and Netherlands.
In terms of full-time workers, Greece recorded the top for working majority hours a week, where 40 hours were spent by women and 43 hours by men. In addition, men and women had the same figure in Netherlands and the UK, at 38 and 37 hours respectively.
According to part-time workers, although all countries had the smallest shares, Greece made up 29 hours for female and 30 hours for male workers. Women workers in Netherlands recorded the same hours as Greece, whereas men worked for only 28 hours weekly in this country. Moreover, the UK accounted for just 28 hours for female, and 29 hours for male workers in the same year.
