The three charts illustrate the changes in annual spending of UK school in 1981,1991 and 2001.
Overall, the spending for teacher’s salaries were extremely high in each year, while the spending for furniture and equipment they spend more in 1981 and 2001 was high, and the almost nothing they spend on insurance.
Regarding the charts, almost half of the wage was spend for teacher’s salaries, accounting for 40% in 1981, followed by other workers’ salaries , with 28%. While for academic resources and for furniture and equipments they spend the same amount of money, each accounted for 15% and for insurance which was almost they spend nothing, at a mere 2%.
In 1991, the teachers’ salaries were responsible for two-fourth which accounted for half of the school spending, with 50%, but after 10 years, the spending for their salaries reduced by 5% (45%), while other workers’ salaries continued to drop, within a time span of 20 years, first to 22%, then to 15% (1991-2001). While, the contribution for books was also grew to 20% in 1991, but after many years, it also saw decrease, at 9%. In 1991, merely 5% of money was funded for furniture and equipment; however after ten years, the wages contributed to them, incredibly rose to 23%. Finally, for insurance, the school didn’t spend that much, at a mere 3% in 1991, then in 10 years, this figure changed, reaching to 8%.
