Overall, it is clear that in the pie chart, work opportunities accounted for the largest proportion of reasons for migration, while adventure represented the smallest share. Furthermore, in the bar chart, Sweden and Australia ranked the highest, whereas the UK and Iceland were ranked the lowest.
Looking at the pie chart, work opportunities accounted for the largest proportion of migration reasons, at 27%, which was marginally higher than the figure for job offers (24%) and slightly larger than the proportion of family (22%). By contrast, study and better lifestyle represented smaller shares, at 15% and 9% respectively. Adventure was the least common reason, accounting for just 3%, which was nowhere near as high as any of the other categories.
According to bar chart, it is clearly that Australia and Sweden were the highest ranking at between 7.9 and 8.0. Following this, Canada was slightly lower at 7.9 points. Norway were marginally higher than USA, at between 7.8 and 7.9. Denmark and Switzerland were considerably lower ranking than USA, at half of 7.6 and 7.7. By contrast, UK, Iceland and Netherlands reached the lowest scores at between 7.5 and 7.6, but Netherlands was slightly higher than Iceland and UK, at nearly 7,6 than other.
