In terms of migration motives, almost half of the respondents (48%) stated that they moved abroad to achieve a better lifestyle. Work opportunities were the second most common reason, chosen by 23% of participants, followed by studying, which accounted for 15%. In contrast, family-related reasons and the desire for adventure were far less significant, at 11% and 3% respectively.
Looking at quality of life rankings, Sweden and Australia shared the top position with scores of 9.1 out of 10. Canada was also rated highly at 8.5, while the USA and Switzerland scored moderately, with 8.1 and 7.5 respectively. The UK had the lowest ranking among the given countries, standing at 7.0.
