The illustatrion of the maps draws a comparsion between an olympic and paraolympic village in the span of a couple of decades.
Overall, it is evident that there has been an immense rise in the infrastructure. Some forests have been cut down in order to accommodate a few lodges. Several roads have also been constructed over the course of these years. There has been a lot of development in the village to facilitate the sports’ conduction.
Firstly, towards the North we notice a couple of buildings, whereas earlier there used to be a fitness centre only. The Welcome centre has now shifted in the North from South. The parking lot has now been extended right upto the fitness centre. Several roads have now been constructed that run accross the village to aid efficient locomotion.
Down south, just right to the river, a medical building is now made, where there used to be an empty building in 2000s. Towards the East, a dedicated accommodation arena has been established along with an extra car-parking and a multi-faith centre.
