In general,the data shows significant transformation of the area,especially in terms of accommodation and recreational facilities.
Throughout the period,facilities in the left-hand side of the High Street,such as school,library,hospital,remained in their original positions,except the hospital that was enlarged.By 2012,there is technopark in the southeast corner where the trees once were.Playing fields with trees alongside the road were demolished and the area is taken up by blocks of flats.Restaurant has located to the spot that was previously taken up by bank.
Turning to the right side,it is clear that houses had been removed to construct blocks of flats with additional flats occupied along the High Street.The large area that was dedicated for cafe and park in 1990,has been owned by hotel and golf course after 22 years.Finally,the shops in the southeast corner were replaced by supermarket,while the theatre was rebuilt as a cinema.
