It is evident that there was a significant modification in front of the hospital with the addition of two roundabouts and a bus station, while the internal structure of the hospital remained unchanged.
In 2007, the Ring Road, which surrounded the city hospital, was connected to the City Road by a Hospital Road. There were two rows of bus stops located on both sides of Hospital Road, with a car park for both staff and the public on the eastern side.
Three years later, the area underwent substantial changes. One of the stark differences was the construction of a pair of roundabouts to improve access. The first one was situated directly in front of the hospital , linking the Ring Road and Hospital Road, while the other was built on the southern side of the layout to connect with the City Road. Both these roundabouts led to a newly constructed bus station positioned on the left. Opposite to this, the general car park was separated into two distinct areas one exclusively for staff and the public car park was relocated adjacent to the Ring Road in the northeastern corner. Despite these changes, the size and location of the hospital itself remained unaltered
