Considering from an overall perspective, it can be apparently observed that it appears that Castellon have become a modern city, with more shopping and transport facilities. Noticeably, the university remained unchanged.
To begin with, the interesting change is that a new tram line has to connect the university with the town centre. In 2000, there was not any accommodation for students, but a hall of residence have newly constricted the university, another striking change is that the old market in the west side of the city has fall down to make a new shops. A completely new covered market has also built on the other side of town.
Furthermore, looking at the port area, it has open since 2000, and a range of entertainment facilities have increase, such as cinemas, bars and clubs made for people. However, the trees has cut down, and a new shopping complex has constructed. Finally, the development has the of a bike-rental open in the city centre.
