The pie charts illustrate the occupation of psychologists after graduating. Overall, it is expected that the majority of psychologists will work at private clinics and the least in educational institutions and community agencies, whereas in reality, most psychologists work in schools or universities as well as community agencies.
According to the first chart, nearly 70% of psychologists are anticipated to work in private clinics and a huge gap can be seen in the medical center as it comprises only 13% of the chart. Psychologists who are expected to work in educational institutions and community agencies have the same proportion of 8%, which makes up a total of 16%.
Conversely, on the actual chart, psychologists working in the education field dominated the chart by almost half, followed by community agencies by slightly over a quarter (26%). Moreover, 16% of psychologists work in private clinics and a dramatic difference could be seen in the medical center as it only contributed 3% to the total sum.
