The given two pie charts below illustrates information about occupation patterns in Great Britain in 1992.
Overall, it can be seen that both of females and males are not curious in becoming general labourers. Most women enjoy to work in clerical or related jobs, whereas most percent of men work in managerial.
First of all, 31% of females work in clerical jobs, and this figure is the significantly higher than the percentage of male in this industry, which is only 6%. Furthermore, managerial and professional works are common among women (29%), however this percentage is still lower than the male figure of 36%. Other non-manual roles experienced 9% of the female work, slightly higher than 6% recorded for men.
By contrast, men influenced most manual occupations. Craft or similar jobs account for 27% of female employment, and 26% of male employment, showed almost equal participation. However, other manual jobs illustrates the greatest differences, with 24% of male compared to only 3% of female. In addition, general labourers experienced just 1% of the women and 2% of the men, indicating that this occupation was uncommon in both gender.
