Overall, Canadian people have more tendecy to get separated than Australian people. The portion of single, divorced and widowed people are almost the same in both countries.
In Canada, 68%of the population don’t have a relationship. Half of the population is married but they don’t live together anymore. Followed by widowed and people who have never married with 7% each. In Canada, only 1% people got divorced. On the other hand, 29% of heterosexual Canadian have succesful marriage. In addition, homosexual marriages make up 3%.
In Australia, the succesful marriage rate is higher than Canada with 46%. However, there is no homosexual marriage in Australia. The people who are still married but seperated make up 41% of the Australian population, which is a little bit lower than Canada. People who lost their partners are 6% and 5% of Australian has no relationship. Likewise Canada, Australian people don’t prefer to got divorce either which is only 2%.
