In an overview, oil was the most consumed energy last year globally. coal and gas were the other major sources that were used extensively by the world population. coal was also the most used commodity to generate electricity compared to other other resources.

In terms of usage of energy, it is seen that people have excessively utilised oil in the rate of 34.3%.coal and gas consumption were of 25.1% and 20.9% respectively.Meanwhile,hydro energy comprised of 2.2% and the least used were other forms of energy with 0.4 percentage.

In power production, coal was vastly used with the percentage 39.8. Morever,hydro energy with 36.1%,nuclear energy with 15.7% and gas energy with 19.6% altogether comprised as half of the total electricity generated worlwide.whereas, oil compared to the energy production only had 6.7% in generating electricity. and otherunknown types were the least amenities for electrical generation.
