The two pie charts show the total use of energy and electricity generation worldwide last year. Overall, the majority of energy used is oil and coal for electricity generation in last year all over the world.
In what energy used the most in last year in the world, it is mainly dominated by oil, gas and coal. Oil involved more than one-third of the total percentage, gas contained a quarter and coal around a quarter. It is interesting to find that there is 10.6% of combustible renewables and waste in the total spent energy in the world. In the part of the total electricity generation in the world, it is mainly contributed by coal with around 40%. Moreover, hydro, gas, and nuclear represented around 15% respectively.
In combining the two pie charts, it is easy to find that coal is the dominant energy of consumption and electricity generation. Besides, it is interesting that the combustible renewables and waste found in the energy of consumption but none of it in the electricity generation.
