The maps illustrate the development and constructional modifications that had taken place on City library for one decade started from 2004 until 2014.
Overall, the library experienced a comprehensive transformation process, transitioned from a basic simple functional layout to more attractive building. The enhancements were included reorganize the General Collection by adding new rooms for Movies and computer Games, shrank fiction area, non-fiction area and children’s room and make small corner for magazines.
Regarding the infrastructure, the most notable changes were in the north area that contained a general collection. In 2004 there were four rooms took up more space. Fiction room and magazines room occupied equal space while non-fiction and children’s room similar in space. In 2014 all collections were shrank and built new area for Computer Games which was divides into two section open entrance for magazine district and Movies and computer Games.
In terms of residential and leisure developments, the southern area of the library was completely restructured. The Academic Journals was demolished to relocated Art Gallery and Gift Store with small café opened to Outdoor Performance area. While Art Gallery space moved to different position new public facilities constructed for Computer and Media room which was situated in right side from main entrance.
