Looking at the first table in more details,it can be seen that the percentage of Chinese students in Canada was highest, making up 5400 sutdents and in the next school year, there was a sharp increase by 45%.Whereas , the figure for Indian students in Canada was lowest ,accounting for 2100 students and a dramatic increase to 2835 students in 2003-2004.The percentage of American students in Canada was second highest, making up 5000 students in 2002-2003 and 5450 students in 2003-2004.This made the total the percentage of international students in Canada increase from 59870 students to 70004 students .
