Overall, it is clear that the share of 55-64 years old people who consumed fruits and vegetables was the highest in both genders, while that was lowest in the teenager males and females and in all age categories women were dominant in terms of eating fruits and vegetables
Regarding above 54-years old people, the highest proportion of males and females who consumed fruits and vegetables were recorded in 55-64 years old people with nearly 33% and about 34%, respectively, while around 26% of 65-74 years old women ate fruits and vegetables, which around 2% more than that in men. In both gender people who were above 75 in age was same with a fifth of total people.
As for under 54-years old people, the percentage of men and women consuming more than five portion of fruits and vegetables was 15% and about 17%, respectively, made them the age category that ate fruit and vegetable, while the biggest difference was recorded among 45-54 years old men and women by nearly 5%. Finally, difference in the rest of the age groups was nearly same by 3%
