Dear Sir or Madam,
I am the Secretary of my vicinity, and I am writing this letter to bring to your attention a problem that the residents in my neighbourhood are facing due to the construction work that has been ongoing for the past 3 weeks.
Firstly, the constant drilling of heavy-duty machineries and trackers has made it nearly impossible to continue our regular work. Students and the elderly among others are the worst affected with this. As you are aware the state examinations are approaching, students in our locality find it almost impossible to study in the evening. The loud noise at the construction site is interfering with our sleep schedule and is affecting our well-being.
To mitigate this issue we request to kindly ensure that the use of the machineries be limited during the day and be restrained before sunset. If possible, we kindly request you to reschedule the construction to a suitable date after the State examinations.
We will be greatly obliged if consider our request.
Yours faithfully,
Ms. Anne Vegas
