Overall, Singapore had the highest number of landline telephones ownership in 2000, 2002,and 2004. Meanwhile, Myanmar represented the lowest number of landline telephones ownership.
A striking point is that in 2000, Singapore had the greatest people whose owned landline telephones ownership, which was roughly 460,000 people. Afterward, it slighly dropped to 450,000 people by 2002 and 430,000 in the final years. Furthermore, Brunei Darussiam and Philippines also had the similar trend with Singapore.
On the other hand, Vietnam and witnessed steadily increased from 25,000 people by 2000 to 60,000 people in 2004. In addition, Cambodia experienced the same trend with Vietnam. Moreover, Thailand and Indonesia illustrate only two years, which was 2000 and 2002 but Thailand had the higher figure than Indonesia in both two years. Ultimately, Myanmar witnessed the lowest number of landline telephone throughout the periods.
