Overall, there was a drastic change in the market share for OS 1 and Others, while OS 2 and OS 3 stayed relatively stable. Although Others started with the highest figure, OS 1 overtook it and became the best-selling version by the end of the period.
Regarding the operating systems with the most significant change,in 2012 the Others category was predominant on the market, at approximately 48%. OS 1 accounted for only half of that figure, at 20%. By 2014, OS 1 gained popularity, accounting for 48% of the market, whereas the percentage for Others dropped significantly to 23%. In 2015, at 52%, OS 1 became the best-selling version on the global market, while Others had the recorded the lowest figure, at 15%.
