Dear Anna,

How are you doing? It feels like ages since we last talked. I received your invitation letter three weeks ago, but I couldn’t answer you immediately. Because, before answering you, I had to receive an updated schedule of my winter courses at the university. And, I am sorry to tell you that I can’t come to Italy to visit you in December, as I will be very occupied at the university.

Firstly, winter term will be very complicated and challenged for me, as there will be two main and two selective courses to attend. Secondly, I have to prepare presentations for both selective courses together with the group. Moreover, my parents will come to Paris to spend Christmas with me.

But we can meet in spring holidays and celebrate my birthday here in Paris together. I am planning to organize a birthday party for my family and friends in the Hardrock café. I will be very happy to see there. Let me know if you can come and join the party.
