I am writing to formally dispute an unfamiliar charge that appeared on my first credit card statement, which I received on 12 January 2026.

The transaction in question was made on 5 January 2026 for the amount of $247.50 at a merchant listed as “TechWorld Online”. I do not recognize this purchase and have never shopped with this retailer, either online or in person. Furthermore, I was at home on that date and did not authorize any third party to use my card.

Given that this is my first statement and the card has been in my possession at all times, I strongly believe this charge is the result of an error or unauthorized use. I have carefully reviewed all other transactions, and this is the only one that appears incorrect.

I kindly request that you investigate this matter as soon as possible, reverse the disputed charge, and ensure that my account is protected against any further unauthorized transactions. If necessary, I am willing to provide additional information or complete any required forms to support the investigation.
